what is ceremonial cacao?
Ceremonial cacao is premium-quality cacao that has been traditionally prepared to preserve the natural character of the bean. Unlike heavily processed cocoa powders, it retains more of its natural cacao butter, flavour and richness, resulting in a smooth, full-bodied drinking cacao. While "ceremonial grade" is not a regulated classification, it has become widely recognised as a term for exceptionally sourced, minimally processed cacao prepared with care and intention.
