What's the best time of day to take it?
Many customers find taking it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach works well. If you're also having calcium, soy or magnesium, we recommend leaving a two hour gap either side, as these can affect how well iron is absorbed.
Can I take this alongside Ancestral Iron or other supplements?
Yes, many of our customers use Iron Restore and Ancestral Iron together as a daily duo. If you're taking other supplements or medications, it's always worth checking with your healthcare provider to make sure everything works well together but generally speaking - because this tonic does not contain a mega dose of synthetic iron there is minimal risk of over consuming iron compounds.
How long does a bottle last?
Each bottle contains 20 servings. We recommend finishing the bottle within 28 days once opened. It must be kept in the fridge after opening.
Our Best before is 4 months from production (we produce each week) so you will have 4 months to open and finish your bottles.
Do I need to be diagnosed with low iron to take this?
Not at all. While many of our customers come to us after a blood test confirms low iron or ferritin, Iron Restore is simply a whole food way to support your body's iron levels and everyday energy, whether or not you've had a formal diagnosis.
